The Wine and Traditions Festival 2025 in Gete – Tramonti

On 11 and 12 August 2025, the charming village of Gete (one of the thirteen hamlets that make up the municipality of Tramonti) will once again host the Wine and Traditions Festival. Now in its 34th edition, the festival celebrates the region’s culinary excellence and historical roots through a journey of authentic flavours, ancient crafts and genuine hospitality.
In addition to pizza and cheese making, the small town of Tramonti is also famous for its vine cultivation. The area is home to centuries-old vines that have resisted phylloxera thanks to their particular isolation and microclimate characterised by strong updrafts, a realm of biodiversity made up of unique native grape varieties.
The village offers a food and wine tour featuring Mediterranean dishes, Costa d’Amalfi DOC wines and sweet treats from master pastry chef Sal De Riso and Pasticceria del Borgo. The event programme also includes numerous entertainment options for guests, including music, art and photography.
