The Sounds of the Gods edition 2026
This year marks the return of The Sounds of the Gods (I Suoni degli Dei) festival in Praiano, an event that combines a passion for music with a love for nature through a series of classical and contemporary concerts. Created by the Pelagos Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Praiano, past editions have featured talented local musicians as well as internationally renowned artists such as Ludovico Einaudi, Ambrogio Sparagna, and the Solis String Quartet.
The festival runs from May to October, with the traditional summer break in June, July, and August, and takes place along the famous Path of the Gods, one of the most spectacular hiking trails in the world. The route winds along cliffs overlooking the sea, surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean vegetation and breathtaking coastal views. Attending a concert in such a setting makes for a truly unforgettable experience.
Each concert is reached via a hike of moderate difficulty, lasting between one and a half to three hours, starting from Praiano, Agerola, or Positano. Performances are held in stunning panoramic locations: the square in front of the Church of Santa Maria a Castro, next to the Convent of San Domenico (364 meters above sea level), the area known as “Li Cannati” (537 meters), and “Colle Serra” (578 meters), all offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

In case of bad weather preventing musicians from reaching the scheduled locations, the concert will be held at an alternative venue. Additional special events will be added to the calendar during full moon nights and will be announced from time to time.
