Amalfi Summer Fest 2025

Summer 2025 in Amalfi promises to be extraordinary. Setting the pace will be the much-anticipated Amalfi Summer Fest, the bill of events promoted by the Municipality of Amalfi. Among the protagonists of the festival are the likes of Mario Biondi, Nina Zilli, Roy Paci, the Gemelli di Guidonia and the Amy Winehouse Band, just to name a few. A cultural and artistic reference point for the entire Amalfi Coast, Amalfi Summer Fest is a crossover of genres, including art music, funky and soulful contaminations, rock, black music, and Latin jazz. A groove with a strong emotional impact, crossing pop music and the energy of disco dance, for an unforgettable summer.

THE PROGRAM OF EVENTS

The festival kicks off with Amalfi in Jazz on Saturday, July 12 at 10 p.m. in Piazza Duomo with Amy Winehouse Band, Amy Winehouse’s original band, led by her longtime musical director and bassist Dale Davis. An exciting journey through the greatest hits and masterpieces from Amy’s award-winning albums … and more. To follow (also at 10 p.m. in Piazza Duomo): on Friday, July 18, Nina Zilli, with her unmistakable voice and soulful soul, in a show that is a journey between vintage sounds, contemporary pop and refined international influences; and on Friday, July 25, the refined jazz of Roy Paci, in a more collected and poetic guise.

On August 1 in Piazza Municipio (starting at 10 p.m.) get ready to experience an overwhelming evening with Jovaband, the lineup that brings all the energy and enthusiasm of Jovanotti to the stage. Between pop sounds, funk, rap and summer atmospheres, the show is designed to entertain audiences of all ages, transforming Amalfi into a big party under the stars.

On Friday, Aug. 8 in Piazza Duomo at 9 p.m., the concert dedicated to Neapolitan classical music and its masters will feature the ensemble Napoli Mandolin Orchestra. The ensemble consists of ten plectrum instruments with Maestro Mauro Squillante as first mandolin, and seven orchestral elements conducted by Antonello Cascone, author of the arrangements. Singing are the extraordinary voices of Valentina Assorto, Marianna Corrado and Lello Giulivo.

On August 14, Piazza Duomo is transformed into a large open-air dance floor with Amalfi Dance Floor. Opening the evening is a selection of vinyl music, masterfully curated by DJs Alfonso Liguori and Filippo Di Costanzo, blending sophistication and analog passion. And, to follow, the overwhelming energy of Frankie & Canthina Band, known for their powerful and engaging ability to combine genres and styles in a live show full of emotions.

Sunday, Aug. 22 at 9:30 p.m. in Town Hall Square the performance of the Gemelli di Guidonia, the trio composed of the brothers Pacifico, Gino and Eduardo Acciarino, who since 1999 have captivated audiences with an explosive mix of music, theater and television. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience a unique evening with their unmistakable 33-rpm fun!

There is a change of scenery on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 9 p.m. In the splendid setting of the Arsenal of the Republic is the Di Giacomo in the Mood concert, a tribute to the melodies and verses of the Neapolitan poet Salvatore Di Giacomo and to the genius of maestro Roberto De Simone, a great scholar and interpreter of Neapolitan culture.

Grand finale on August 31 in Piazza Duomo with the warm, soulful voice of Mario Biondi, in a special event for the Byzantine New Year, a cultural-historical event that evokes the beginning of the fiscal and legal year in the era of the Eastern Empire, of which Amalfi was a peripheral autonomy.
